|I never saw the first one in theaters (I was 16 at the time) but I got the dvd the first day it came out and have since watched it seven times. That final fighting scene (with O-Ren) has to be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in a movie.
And I just saw the second movie yesterday, and though it isn't as beautiful as the fight with O-Ren, Elle vs The bride (aka 'silly rabbit trix are for kids') is definitly the coolest fight.
If you're in it for the gore, folks the second movie is not for you. It's more about being psychologically disterbed weither it by being buried alive, or finding out you're pregnant only to be shot at through the door by a fellow assassin.
Everything in this movie is perfect. I challenge anyone to find a flaw in the dialog or acting, because there isn't any. And the final chapter...up until then we see bride as a cold hearted killer, but in the first three minutes of the final chapter something happens that would make any audience smile, maybe weep. It's that powerful.
SEE IT NOW.
Where'd my arm go?
