Mutation Sensation
Updated to Book #14's Epilogue

Note: All of the Remnants' mutations vanished after the regreening of the Earth in Begin Again.

2Face

Mutation: Worms, but her full power was never revealed.
Cause: She was resurrected by Violet during 'Lost and Found'.
How: This will never be known.
Price: She had to live with the Worms inside of her.

Amelia

Mutation: Had the ability to control all of the bacteria in her body and use it as a weapon.
Cause: Truthfully, it was unknown. But Amelia claimed it to be from a being of ancient abilities.
How: Amelia's mutation was discovered in Mother, May I?, and she claims that she has had it for a long time. To strengthen her power, she had to absorb cells of living creatures.
Price: Amelia eventually turned into a slime creature, and she lost her human body forever.

Billy Weir

Mutation: Had a great deal of telepathy, reading minds and moving things with his mind. In Begin Again, Billy claimed that he was fully evolved, and he was immune against dying from things that would have normally killed someone.
Cause: Truthfully, it was unknown. But Amelia claimed it to be from a being of ancient abilities.
How: Billy's mutation had been discovered in 'Destination Unknown', when he hovered over his dying adoptive father. He was the master programmer of the ship, worked with Mother to build the Remnants a great virtual community, and he had done many other abnormal things.
Price: Paranoid for life.

Charlie

Mutation: Could make two-foot-long quills (like the prongs on silverware forks) emerge from his body.
Cause: Truthfully, it was unknown. But Amelia claimed it to be from a being of ancient abilities.
How: Charlie's mutation had been discovered by the Remnants in 'No Place Like Home', but apparently he had the abilities long before that. To strengthen his power, he had to absorb cells of living creatures.
Price: Charlie eventually turned into a slime creature, and he lost his human body forever.

D-Caf

Mutation: Worms, but his full power was never revealed.
Cause: He had been resurrected by Violet during 'No Place Like Home'.
How: This will never be known
Price: He had to live with the Worms inside of him.

Duncan

Mutation: He was the Über-mulitasker. He could have had five brains, eight legs, and eight arms at once if he chose to.
Cause: Amelia claimed it to be from a being of ancient abilities.
How: Duncan revealed his abilities to Yago in ‘Lost and Found’.
Price: Duncan eventually turned into a slime creature and lost his human body forever.

Edward

Mutation: Had the ability to blend in with his surroundings, like a chameleon.
Cause: Unknown.
How: His mutation had been noticed in "Them'. It was completely uncontrolled. His body just automatically camouflaged itself. His mutation must have been gradual, but by the time it was noticed, it was already complete.
Price: None known.

Kubrick

Mutation: Had transparent skin, and felt no pain.
Cause: Experimental surgery by Mother, the computer controlling the ship.
How: His mutation (if you could call it that) happened in only a matter of hours, at the beginning of 'Mutation'. In an experiment performed by Mother, Kubrick's skin was torn from his body and replaced with a transparent material, making him more Shipwright-like.
Price: Could never feel anything physically or obtain real skin.

Roger Dodger

Mutation: Worms, although he never revealed it's full power.
Cause: He had been resurrected by Violet during 'No Place Like Home'.
How: This will never be known.
Price: Had to live with the Worms inside of him.

Tate

Mutation: Had the ability to change into creature with a mouth that took up most of its face.
Cause: Unknown
How: Her mutation was first discovered in ‘Lost and Found’, when she found out that she had transformed into the MOUTH in the middle of the night and attacked Yago.
Price: She didn't have control of her mutation, and whatever she eats becomes a part of her that could take control of her body.

Violet

Mutation: Could have turnd into Worms and reconstruct molecules of any dead or injured life form and make it live or well again.
Cause: A Worm entered her finger in 'Destination Unknown'.
How: She revealed her mutation in 'No Place Like Home', and told that it had gradually progressed into a full breath-taking mutation.
Price: Had to live with the Worms inside of her.

Yago

Mutation: Gave Blue Meanies an unbelievable sensation when he physically touches them.
Cause: Unknown.
How: His mutation was not discovered until 'Mother, May I?'. It was most likely gradually, but it could have been instant. Nothing physically had changed about him.
Price: None known.
